Welcome to Progressive Counseling, the private practice of Karen Hixson, Licensed Professional Counselor.
I believe we feel better when we feel connected: seen, heard and understood in our relationship with others. We live in a world where disconnection within ourselves and between each other has become the norm. I believe this contributes to our experiences of depression, anxiety, emotional and relationship difficulties. I look forward to building a supportive, engaging relationship with my clients to help mitigate some of the challenging experiences of living in this world.
